In Which Math and Fashion are Mutually Exclusive

Here is the story where I found this picture. In sum, Russian mathematician solves baffling problem, refuses prizes and accolades. That's really all you need to know. Because the focus of this post is not the story itself, but the accompanying photo:

Ignoring the eyebrows (as if I have room to talk about eyebrows!), and the beard, and the hair, we are looking at what appears to be a fleece hoodie underneath a regular blazer. How is it that the most brilliant minds seem to fall down so spectacularly in this area? It's really not difficult. Think of it as a mathematical equation, if it helps. Cotton Shirt (with buttons or without, but no zippers) + Blazer + Pants = Presentable Attire. There, you see?

And I guess that's all I have to say about that.
