I'm making oatmeal raisin cookies. Or, as Ethan would call them, "met-meh way-din" cookies.

The recipe inside the lid of the Quaker canister is so far the best I've found - nice and moist. So many recipes I've tried have been horribly dry. Not this one.

I played with the spices a little today. I looooove spices. The recipe called for a teaspoon of cinnamon, but I thought a little clove and nutmeg would give it more depth, so I did 3/4 tsp cinnamon, and 1/4 tsp each of the others. It smells heavenly. I'll let you know how they turn out.
